Commands and Restrictions on the [o-t] Servers

These commands can be bound to keys like any other command.  Below is a description of what each command will do for a class.

buildspecial

Scout

Place Teledisk (2 per life)/ Teleport to Teledisk (5 charges)
It teleports you to the disc, just like it says. Enemy players near the disc will be killed.
You cannot teleport while holding the flag.

Sniper

Anti-Missile Bag (Costs 25 armor)

Soldier

Builds SAM Stand (Costs 50 armor). This SAM stand does nothing on the [o-t] servers as we use the old soldier remotes and not the helicopters that would be damaged by a SAM launcher.

Demoman*

Places a Landmine (costs 25 armor, no more then 2 landmines can be placed at a time)

HW Guy

Places a Mortar (Costs 50 armor).  Mortars may be fired by anyone other then the HW Guy that built it.   See the "Marker" bind for more info.

Medic

Places Anti-Grenade pod (costs 50 armor). This pod will stop enemy rockets (from Pyros, Soldiers) as well as all Type 2 grenades (MIRV, Concussion, Spy Pill, EMP, Napalm, etc)

Pyro

Jetpack (costs 35 armor). This provides a boost of speed. If you are looking up when you use it, you can fly as if you had conc jumped (including with the flag, though not as far)

Spy

Airstrike (can be used once per TEAM every 60 seconds) You must have your crosshairs pointed at the sky. The strike will hit a radius around the position you were standing at when called.

Engineer

Creates a Multigun (cost 100 armor). MGs do NOTHING until they are touched by a team member that is NOT an engineer. If the enemy touches an MG that has not been upgraded, they will steal it and it will attack your team. Place them wisely.

Scout

Radar. This will tell you how many Players, SGs and MGs are nearby and sometimes show you with a colored line which direction they are in. Green lines are players, red lines are SGs, and Yellow lines are MGs (I may have the SG and MG colors reversed). This skill can be done as much as you want BUT it makes a ping sound, so if you are hiding, it could reveal your position to the enemy.
This skill can also be activated with the scout's 'right click' special skill of flag info.

Sniper

(Beam Ladder) This command is disabled on the [o-t] servers for snipers.

Soldier

(Anti Aircraft gun) This command is disabled on the [o-t] servers for soldiers.

Demoman*

Place sensor mine (cost 25 armor). The mine will make a ping sound when an enemy is in range. A message will also spam your screen saying their is an enemy in range of your mine.

* about demoman mines. They both seem to be a little touchy about placement. One big note, they can only be put in places where a dispenser can be built. So if they land too close to doors or elevators, they usually self destructed after 2 seconds.
Another thing to remember, always tip your view slightly upward when you place the mine. Having your view pointed below a centered screen makes them malfunction and vanish.. or worse blow up on you.

Medic

SNARKS! (cost 10 armor, 5 per life, max 3 active at a time) Much like in Half-Life.. they're little flying bugs that track enemies and attack them. Snarks ignore armor and do 10 health damage per hit. They will also attack enemy SGs/MGs. If there isn't an enemy around, the snarks will attack the medic that released them.
Snarks blow up after a short time.

Pyro

Freezegun (2 per life) A very short range weapon that freezes an opponent in place. They must have both feet on the ground and be in your crosshairs for this to work. Enemies will still be able to shoot while frozen, just unable to move around.

Spy

Hoverboard (10 armor to make, 3 armor per second of use). This allows spies to fly around so long as they have armor. The hoverboard cannot be used when carrying the flag. Use buildspecial2 again or detspecial to get off the hoverboard.
Hoverboards will not work on/in water.

Engineer

Bounce Pad (50 armor). This looks like a ghostly white dispenser. Using the bounce pad consumes 10 armor. Soldiers, Pyros, and HW Guys cannot use the bounce pad. Players with the flag cannot use the bounce pad.
Simply press jump while over the bounce pad to be launched into the air by it.

The underscore needs to be there (I think)
For all classes except Scout and Soldier, _special2 will do the same action as buildspecial. Snipers have an extra function with _special2 if the anti-grenade bag is already built.

Scout

Ring of Shadows (1 per life) For 20 seconds, all SGs and MGs will ignore the Scout. This makes a very loud humming noise when in use.

Sniper

Laser guided rocket. You must have your sniper rifle charged.  A slow moving missile will launch and follow the red dot of your sniper site. Releasing your trigger will detonate the rocket instantly.

Soldier

Creates a remote rocket (3 per life). When created, your view will switch to the rocket view. The rocket moves forward by itself and can be maneuvered by the mouse.  Run into something to detonate the rocket.

Other Commands

shuriken OR saberdisc

Demoman only. This throws a blade that glows the color of your team in a straight line. Enemies hit by it will take damage and be launched backwards into the air. It can NOT damage enemies as it returns to you (it's like a boomerang) but I have seen it bounce them.
The disc has some recoil when it returns to you. This can be used to speed you up or make long jumps. (I've gotten from the bridge in the flag room of well clear to the ceiling doing this).
The flag weighs you down a great deal, making disc jumping barely useful (can't even make it up the elevator in 2fort)
You're allowed 20 throws per life.

The Mortar

Mortars are built by HW guys, BUT the HW guys can't use them. Medics, pyros, scouts, and demomen are the only ones that can. Those 4 classes can use these 2 commands:

marker

This places a marker on the ground that looks like the pyros napalm grenade and glows with the color of the team.
Once a marker is placed, point at a friendly Mortar and use the marker command again. This will make the mortar fire a rocket (at an arc) to the marker you placed.
Markers usually die after about 5 direct hits from the mortar.
I have not seen any limit to the number of markers you can place, except that you can only have 1 out at a time. (per player)

Destroys your current marker. (Good if you want to place a new one)

Unbindable abilities.

HW Guy - Armor Sharing.

Being near other classes will boost their armor to 50 for scouts, snipers, and engineers, 100 for spies, medics, demomen, and 150 for pyros, soldiers, and other HW Guys.

Spy - Chat spying.

Any text typed by the enemy will be displayed to you if you're close enough. The message will become distorted the farther away you are.

Medic - Dispenser upgrade.

Touching a friendly dispenser will put a + above it. The dispenser will now heal friendly units nearby for 10 hp per second.

Sniper - Flashgrenades.

2 per life. 2 more can be gained an a medic upgraded dispenser.
